Barrington Youth & Family Services offers a variety of youth outreach programs to help District 220 students develop their social and academic skills. Student participants are referred to programs by school counselors and teachers and can take advantage of the services at no (or minimal) cost.
BYFS YOUTH OUTREACH PROGRAMS

Current BYFS youth outreach programs include:
Pathways Mentoring Program
Pairs middle school youth with high-functioning Barrington High School mentors in a structured setting to promote social and self-management skills development.
Summer Soccer & Folkloric Dance
Provides formal sports instruction and social-emotional learning activities for youth during the summer months.
Peer Leadership Group
Offers leadership skills development for high-functioning elementary and middle school youth, primarily focused on the topic of bullying.
Issue-Specific Support Groups
Conducted as requested/needed.
