Barrington Youth & Family Services (BYFS) is a community-based, non-profit social service agency, providing comprehensive family counseling, youth outreach and prevention programming for Barrington area youth and their families.
BYFS' service boundaries coincide with Barrington Community Unit School District 220, including portions of Cook, Lake, McHenry and Kane counties, and Barrington, Cuba, Dundee and Ela townships.
BYFS collaborates with local government, schools and community leaders to design programs that address the specific issues and needs of Barrington area families, as well as identify and respond to new issues as they emerge.
BYFS offers counseling and mental health assessments to address concerns of at-risk/ unusual behavior. Call 847-381-0345 for an appointment. Most insurance accepted, sliding fee scale available. BYFS offices are conveniently located across from Barrington High School.
